What employers actually get from each when hiring in India.
LinkedIn as a hiring platform
LinkedIn has over 100 million Indian professionals on its platform. It is the world's largest professional network and the default channel for white-collar recruiting in India after Naukri. For employers, LinkedIn offers several hiring products: free job posting (limited visibility), promoted job posts (Rs 500 to Rs 8,000 per listing depending on targeting and budget), LinkedIn Recruiter Lite (Rs 8,000 to Rs 9,200 per month for InMail credits and advanced search), and full LinkedIn Recruiter (Rs 2 lakh or more per year for enterprise-level tools).
LinkedIn's strength is unique: it lets you see the full professional history of every candidate, search by company, title, skill, and geography, and reach people who are not actively looking for jobs through InMail. For senior hires, passive candidate outreach, and employer branding, LinkedIn has no equivalent.
What LinkedIn does not do
LinkedIn does not screen your applicants. A promoted job post generates 200 to 800 applications for entry-level roles. Every application is a profile link. Your recruiter opens each one, reads the summary, checks the experience section, and decides whether to proceed. For 300 applications, that is 12 to 15 hours of work.
LinkedIn does not interview anyone. It does not call candidates. It does not score them. It does not rank them. It does not follow up with non-responsive applicants. It does not tell you which of your 300 applicants can actually communicate clearly in a conversation.
LinkedIn is a discovery platform. Everything that happens after discovery is entirely on you.
What Reney does instead
You describe the role. Reney finds 50 candidates, screens every resume, interviews the top 10 in English or Hindi, and delivers a scored, ranked shortlist with transcripts and recordings in 72 hours. You open the dashboard and your shortlist is there. Your time spent: 17 minutes reviewing.

Use LinkedIn when
You are hiring senior professionals where personal outreach matters. You want to build a long-term employer brand. You need to reach passive candidates who are not applying to job posts. You have a TA team with the bandwidth to search, message, screen, and interview manually.
Use Reney when
Your role attracts 100 or more applicants and you need someone to process them all. You do not have a LinkedIn Recruiter licence. You want to hear candidates speak before meeting them. You would rather spend 17 minutes reviewing a shortlist than three weeks building one.
Using LinkedIn and Reney together
Post on LinkedIn for visibility and employer branding. Use Reney to process the applications. LinkedIn generates the candidate pool. Reney evaluates it. The combination gives you LinkedIn's reach with Reney's screening depth.
